On first meeting, Eve often appears blunt - if not outright harsh to those she does not know. Prior to her desertion from Shinra, many would have considered her bubbly, and by others - spoiled. But the trauma of losing her brother, the deaths of Zack Fair and cloud strife, and leaving behind the only life she has ever known, has caused her to become guarded, often lashing out unintentionally at those who prod her. Both to protect herself emotionally, but to dissuade anyone from delving too deep into why the former First class SOLDIER declared KIA is roaming the Slums freely.Get past her barriers, and you find the real Eve - deeply traumatized but caring young woman, who was never taught how to properly express herself (dissuaded from doing so in fact) who simply wants to protect those she cares about, and is unsure and insecure of her place in the world as a product of the JENOVA project, fearful that any close connections could spell death for those she allows in.Despite all this - she's easily flustered by those who know her well enough, and not a good liar to those who truly know her. Loyal to a fault - and with a heart full of unchecked anger and rage at the company and the man who ensured she and her brother never had a chance at being 'normal'.

The Moons gaze

Her main choice of weaponry - two dual gunblades that can be wielded at the same time. Given to her upon her induction into SOLDIER, she is most often seen using these to fight. She is often seen imbuing her bullets with magic, and following up with quick slashes to gain the upperhand in a fight.
During Advent Children, Yazoo (and Loz on occasion) are seen utilizing similar weaponry, the Velvet Nightmare, due to her influence on the Remnants, though they seem to be poorer quality.

Dual Fenrir Gauntlet

Her secondary weapon, an electrified gauntlet that Eve wields on her right hand, utilizing it for close quarters and hand to hand combat. She can augment it further with lightning magic. During the events of the Nibelheim Disaster and other moments of potential JENOVA takeover, she utilizes it as a tazer to force herself into unconsciousness to avoid a hostile take over of her mind. During Advent Children, Loz is seen using his own version - Dual Hound, due to Eve's influence on the Remnants.

The Broken ties

A weapon that Eve has only been seen using once - during the final fight with Sephiroth in Advent Children. Forged from an old Masamune of Sephiroth's Eve took from Shinra after her desertion, the separation of the blades are meant to indicate the separation - the broken ties between herself and Sephiroth following Nibelheim and his presumed death. She refuses to ever use the twin blades - not wishing for the former Masamune to be used for further bloodshed. However, during the fight against Sephiroth in AC, she finally allows herself to use it, to overcome her guilt over his fate. Kadaj uses his own version - Souba, due to her influence on the Remnants.

ㅤbeginningㅤ Eve as she is known now, was simply the codename given to the secondary embryo stripped from Dr. Lucrecia Crescent's womb - born four years after her brother - the eventual war hero of Shinra. The name was meant to inspire hope of the twins bringing Shinra to the promised land. the circumstances of her birth are a highly classified secret of the Science department within shinra - Professor Hojo upon finding out his wife, Dr. Lucrecia Crescent was pregnant with twins, forcibly extracted one embryo as the variable subject in the jenova project. it was not until four years later, when sephiroth was deemed a success, that eve's embryo, also genetically enhanced with JENOVA cells was 'born' from the tube it had been frozen in. once shown to her now, elder twin, the two became inseperable, and the next phase of the jenova and soldier project began.

After Nibelheim and the supposed death of Sephiroth, Eve is unable to desert Shinra - kept sedated for a new 'experiment' utilizing the teleport materia Hojo has discovered. having made contact with another universe - and the overseer of vault 007 located in what was formerly known as California. vault 007 was experimenting with teleportation and the effects on the human body. it was by sheer luck that one of their experiments established contact with Gaia due to Hojo's experimentation. this was not part of their original experiment, but nonetheless, lauded as a success as establishing 'other worlds' for Vault Tec to 'help'. eventually, the overseer agreed to allow hojo to send through a 'representative' of Gaia, not knowing that he would be sending eve - the 'daughter' of the calamity of the skies, jenova. hojo's hypothesis being that jenova's latent desire to conquer and destroy new worlds would manifest when eve arrived. however, due to the teleport materia and Vault Tec's own teleport technology not being correctly synced - Eve arrives far later than they had arranged. To an empty and deserted vault. unaware of where she was, or what had transpired - she makes her way to the surface, plenty armed and plenty dangerous, quickly establishing herself as a mysterious and... odd merc for hire. but in the wasteland - well, her oddities fit right in.

Zack Fair - a man she thought lost to her until she caught glimpse of him in Midgar on a hot day. Believing him to simply be a mirage, having been told of his death - nothing could be further from the truth. Rekindling their prior relationship (now that Eve could be sure that he would be safe from Shinra and Hojo), they are now engaged to be married, living in the slums with their dog Lupin (Gongaga) and two cats (yin and yang.) with the possible... addition of a little one.

Rufus Shinra. A tumultuous relationship that began as icy as where they first consummated their relationship, the Icicle Inn. Dejected from her brief failures at love, Rufus was nothing but determined to win her over - even under the watchful eye of Sephiroth and his own father. After deserting Shinra, Eve realized she was pregnant, and with Rufus' help - had their eldest daughter Estella in secret. Placed in the care of family of Veld's, until such time it was 'safe' for Rufus to claim both his daughter and Eve as his wife. At odds during the events of FFVII, during the Geostigma Crisis they are reunited together with their daughter, followed soon with the addition of twins, Kai and Lani.
